Chili Lime Chicken Kabobs

When I intend of the summer, I intend of the grill! These kabobs are too then tasty too agency slowly to make. You tin flame too substitute shrimp for the chicken...yum!



Chili Lime Chicken Kabobs
Adapted from {Paula Deen}

1 ruby bell pepper, cutting into 1 inch pieces
1 medium ruby onion, cutting into 1 inch pieces
1 fresh pineapple cutting into chunks
three boneless, skinless, chicken breasts cutting into 1 inch pieces
common salt & pepper to taste

Skewers

Marinade
2/3 loving cup vegetable oil
1 tsp lime zest
1/3 loving cup lime juice
two Tbl vinegar
two Tbl sugar
1/4 tsp chili powder

Directions
In a pocket-sized bowl whisk oil, lime juice, vinegar, sugar, too chili powder
Salt & Pepper chicken chunks
In a plastic bag, combine bell pepper, onion, too chicken
Pour lime marinade over chicken mixture
Seal bag, too house inwards the fridge to for iv to six hours to marinate
Heat grill to 350° to 400°
If you lot are using wooden skewers, soak them for close an hr earlier use, too then they don't burn
Remove chicken too vegetable pieces from marinade.
Onto the skewers, thread 1 slice of chicken, 1 slice of pepper, 1 slice of onion, too 1 slice of pineapple, alternating to fill upwardly the skewer
Place chicken kabobs on the grill
Cook for 10 to xv minutes turning 1 time one-half way
Remove skewers from grill too serve warm
